TAMBORINE — LIGHT IN A DARK ROOM
Named for Tamborine Mountain, where the glow worms light the caves.
A planted terrarium with its own light in the lid, so it doesn't need a window. A desk, a shelf, the dark corner of an office — anywhere a plant would normally sulk.
The light sits in a threaded cap at the top and throws down through the planting the way canopy light falls through rainforest. It's a USB LED — plug it into a laptop, a power bank, a wall socket with a USB port, or the phone charger already on your desk. Nothing proprietary, and if the light ever fails you can replace it yourself for a few dollars.
Each one is scaped from the ground up and no two are the same.
WHAT YOU GET
- A fully planted, established Tamborine terrarium in the Large size
- Integrated USB LED with 1.5m lead (plugs into any USB port)
- Living plants and natural hardscape
- Printed care card
- Ready to place. Plug it in and that's it
CARE
- Light on 8–10 hours a day. More isn't better — it dries the moss. A cheap USB timer plug handles it if you'd rather not think about it
- Mist every 1-2 months, or when the glass stops fogging in the morning
- Keep out of direct sun. The LED is all the light it needs
- Trim anything touching the glass
